I wanted to personally reach out to everyone who gave to the Track & Field/Cross Country crowdfunding campaign and give everyone an update with regards to the Throws Shed.  

First, I can't thank all of YOU enough for raising the funds to get this purchased.  This will be such a HUGE asset to our program and it means SO much.  

Secondly, it has been a very lengthy process to get this approved by the University Capital Planning Committee here on campus.  I wish it was as easy as us just going out and purchasing this, but unfortunately it is not.  We are doing our best to move this along as fast as we can.  The Capital Planning Committee was suppose to meet yesterday to approve it, unfortunately it got cancelled and is now rescheduled for December 8th.  I appreciate your patience and understanding! 

Once December 8th hits I will reach back out to everyone ASAP!  Once this is finally approved on December 8th this will move very quickly!

Again, thank you so much for your support and dedication to our Track & Field/Cross County program.  GO BULLS!

GREAT NEWS!  We are in the process of purchasing the brand new Throws Shed - this is all because of YOU and we can't thank you enough.  Our apologies as this has taken a little bit longer than expected - but none the less its getting completed.  Once we have the shed on site we will definitely take photos and video so we can share it all with you.

Our coaches and student athletes would like to thank all of YOU, our generous donors, that contributed to our Crowd Funding campaign this past spring!  Seventy-Five amazing donors came through and helped us reach our goal.  Already purchased are our new hurdles, and we are in the process of getting our new adjustable water barrier for the steeple chase and our shed for our throws program!

There are 3 DAYS LEFT in our crowdfunding project and only have $1640 more to raise....WE CAN DO THIS!!!  Thank you so much for your support.  I challenge all of you to continue to pass this along to your family, friends, former teammates, etc.  This is hugely doable to reach 100% by 5pm EST on Friday.
