WHO WE ARE

The University at Buffalo Wrestling team consists of a wide range of young men, coming from all different backgrounds.  The are driven by passion, determination, and vision. We understand that in order to do great things, the drive has to start from within. We challenge ourselves daily knowing that our drive will not necessarily guarantee a conference title or an NCAA trophy or a medal, but this drive will give us the best possible opportunity in wrestling and in life. We encourage every UB wrestler to not only show up every day for practice and in the classroom, but show up where it counts most, the community.

WHY WE ARE RAISING MONEY???

As we look to capitalize on our program's success, we are aiming to do everything possible to enhance the student athlete experience.  To be able to do this, we are soliciting your help to purchase new travel suits and bags.  These travel suits will be worn anytime we travel to go and compete.  We will all look very professional and uniform, proudly representing Buffalo.  In addition, we are asking for help to fund our summer training budget.  This training budget allows us to travel our student athletes around the country to compete in elite tournaments (i.e.: Junior World Team).  At Buffalo, we believe that summer training breeds winter champions.  In order to continue to build the success of our program and take it to the next level, we have to travel to compete against the best competition in the world.

WHY WE NEED YOUR HELP

This is WHY we need YOUR help!  We are asking YOU to help continue to grow our program.  Your tax deductible contribution is a true testament to UBelieving in our student athletes and building the wrestling program.  YOUR donations will help us get gear to make our athletes look and feel great while they compete.  The summer training will help our wrestlers get in the best shapes of their lives and maintain it throughout their wrestling career at UB.
